Donations


Melbourne Shwetambar Jain Sangh Inc. (MSJS) is a non-profit organisation. All Sangh activities are funded by donations from individuals and/or institutions. All donations received by MSJS, will be utilised/spent as per wish of the donor through various accounts/categories listed below and same will be accounted as per established practices in Jain trust accounting. MSJS will be delighted to receive donations in following categories:

1. Shubh Sarva Sadharan
2. Gyan / Pathshala
3. Jeev Daya
4. Dharmik Utsav
 
If you want to donate in any other account, please contact the treasurer of the Sangh as per details provided at the bottom of the page and if you are not particular about it, then, kindly donate in account of Shubh Sarva Sadharan.
 
Donations are not tax deductible.
 

How to make donations?

Within Australia:
1. Cheque/Money Order: Please make cheque or money order payable to Melbourne Shwetambar Jain Sangh Inc. and mail it to: 3 Rice Street Moorabbin Victoria 3189.

2. Electronic/Bank Transfer: You can transfer money from any Australian banks/financial institutions. Our bank account details are as follows:

What Details need to be provided?

1. Name, address and contact details of the donor(s). Receipt will be issued in the name specified and posted to address provided. If you wish to remain anonymous, please let us know.

2. Please specify the category in which you would like to donate. If no details are provided, it will be accounted in Shubh Sarva Sadharan.

3. In case of cheque, please write detail either on back of cheque or on separate piece of paper and send it along with the cheque. 

4. In case of direct bank transfer, please ensure to include the details in description/remark field followed by an email to treasurer as per details at the bottom of the page.
